She's been in the media industry for over 20 years. After college, she moved to New York City, the media capital of the world, to work with NBC, yes the NBC of SNL and Friends! While at NBC she was also freelancing for online shows-- on-air corresponding and producing. She was living her best life and BAM! she was fired. Out of work, She started to hustle – really hustle and The Shabazz brand was born. in 2016, she started her media company called Shabazz Communications, which now is known as The Shabazz Team. The Shabazz team produces hundreds of galas, conferences and festivals. They also created and executed several marketing and media campaigns for authors, organizations and celebrities! Through her Hey Thysha! platform, she teaches and coaches artists, creatives and millennials with a lot on their mind about branding, marketing, digital marketing and how to use their voices!
